Same-day luggage shuttle service from Kii-Tanabe station or Tanabe accommodation to Takijiri/Takahara accommodation.
You can meet the luggage shuttle staff in front of the JR Kii-Tanabe station.
The service is convenient because guests do not need to carry their luggage on the local bus to Takijiri where the walk begins.
This price plan is often used by pilgrims who are walking from Takijiri-oji to Takahara. Takijiri-oji is a 40 minute local bus ride from Kii-Tanabe station.
Takijiri-oji is the spiritual entrance to the sacred Kumano Mountains and the start of the UNESCO World Heritage registered Nakahechi section of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route. This is a popular place to start walking.
Takahara is a ridge top settlement with beautiful panoramic views.

● No refunds provided if guests do not meet service provider at the designated time and location.
● No refunds provided if the number of pieces of luggage is decreased or the route is shortened after 17:00 the day before.
● An extra fee will be charged if the number of pieces of luggage is increased or the distance of delivery increased.
● Due to reservation changes, if it is not possible to arrange transport with the same provider, arrangements will be made with a different provider. In this case, the first reservation will be cancelled and refunded, and the fixed cancellation fee will be charged if it applies. Then the new arrangement will be processed as a new reservation.
- RESERVATIONS

- ■ Pick-up and delivery are limited to accommodations booked ONLY via the KUMANO TRAVEL Community Reservation System in order to prevent problems such as accommodations refusing to accept luggage or loss in transit due to miscommunication.
■ Daily luggage shuttle service needs to be booked at least 10 days in advance.

■ Luggage is collected from in front of Tanabe Tourist Information Center next to JR Kii-Tanabe Station.■ Tanabe Tourist Information Center doesn't run this luggage shuttle service. It is not possible to keep luggage at the center.Tanabe Tourist Information Center is only a meeting point for you and the carrie. The carrier will take luggage directly from the customer.While filling out your application, select time in the "Pick-up Time" section.
【Accommodations in Tanabe】■ Please leave your luggage at the accommodation at check-out.■ Luggage pick-up reception open until 10:00 a.m.■ While filling out your application, select "By10:00, Tanabe Accommodation " in the Pick-up Time section.
