 Description

Welcoming Minshuku

Minshuku Teruteya is a small guesthouse tucked into the mountain side in the hot spring village of Yunomine Onsen, and is run by the hospitable Ms. Fujikawa.  The meals are lovingly handmade with fresh, local ingredients.  Teruteya is the princess in the legend of Oguri Hangan, who was miraculously healed in the Tsuboyu Bath.  The three guestrooms are located on the second floor and the communal dining room and onsen bath are on the ground floor.  This inn is decorated with handmade crafts and paintings by Ms. Fujikawa.

Minshuku Teruteya can only accept reservations 1 month or less in advance.
Thank you for your understanding.

Vegetarianism is not common in the Japanese countryside. Please double-check the Vegetarian Type which the service provider can accommodate to make sure that it meets your needs. Often being able to eat trace amounts of the ubiquitous Katsuo Dashi (fish stock) makes it easier to find options.

NOTE: It is difficult and not culturally sensitive to change meal requests, or make new meal demands, onsite when you arrive at accommodations. Vegetarian types must be confirmed during the reservation process and respected during your visit.
