Hackberry Heim EⅡRA is a set of holiday-apartments on the outskirts of Shirahama next to the Ezura beach. Each cottage-apartment is two stories, with a living area on the 1st floor and the sleeping room on the second floor. The living area offers a sofa, table, mini-kitchen, toilet and bath; covering all the necessities of a self-contained stay. It is popular with families and couples looking for privacy and the freedom of a fully furnished lodging. The name is a combination of ideas: “Hackberry” is a character in the owner’s last name, Heim is the German-based word for “home”, and EⅡRA is the name of the nearby beach ‘Ezura’ (the two capital “I” are the roman numerals for the number two with is roughly pronounced as “zu”).

Kishu Shirahama Onsen Musashi is a major hotel in the beach hot spring resort of Shirahama on the west coast of the Kii-Hanto peninsula. 
It is located on the north side of the white sand Shirarahama beach, a one-minute walk. 
The lofty entrance has a water fountain and is lined with bamboo trees creating a traditional Japanese atmosphere.

Albany inn Shirahama is a comfortable, renovated 60-year-old inn with modern rooms, conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from JR Shirahama Station. The adjacent cafe serves organic meals with carefully selected ingredients and is popular with locals as well as guests. Featured items are organic rice flour cookies and muffins, organic coffee, herbal tea. Gluten-free is also available. The inn is recommended for those sightseeing in Shirahama as well as walking the Kumano Kodo Nakahechi or Ohechi routes.
