Hotel Urashima
Description
Nisshokan is set on the Pacific Ocean side of the peninsula near sea level. The rocky coastline is directly in front of the hotel so guest can hear the waves and smell the ocean right from their guestroom.
Hotel Urashima is a mini-city built into a steep peninsula in Katsuura Onsen. Onsen hopping from bath to bath and wandering through the hotel in your Yukata robe seeing all of the classic --and sometimes retro!-- entertainment for the Japanese is a fun way to explore Hotel Urashima.
※ When Nisshokan is full, Nagisakan may be assigned.

◆Notice of Hotel Urashima Renovation◆
To provide an even more comfortable stay for our guests, we will be carrying out renovation work as outlined below. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause during the renovation period and kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.
【Overview】
Phase 1:
Period: December 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026 (tentative)
Details: Guest rooms in Nisshōkan will be renovated in sequence. The affected floors will be closed.
Phase 2:
Period: April 1, 2026 – Mid-August 2026 (tentative)
Details: Nisshōkan will be closed for renovation of guest rooms and the “Sunrise” restaurant.
Facilities Closed: The large communal baths “Iso-no-Yu” and “Genbudo” in Nisshōkan will be unavailable.
