Description
Bayside Hotel Ryokan
Ground opening on July 1st, 2024! "Katsuura Gyoen" has been reborn as "KAMENOI HOTEL NACHI KATSUURA".
KAMENOI HOTEL NACHI KATSUURA / formerly Katsuura Gyoen is a ryokan hotel in the coastal fishing village of Katsuura, famous for its expansive hot springs baths and fresh seafood.
The facility overlooks Nachi Bay on the Pacific Ocean. Katsuura village is the gateway to the Kumano Nachi Taisha and Nachi-no-Otaki, Japan’s tallest waterfall, around 25 minutes away by local bus. In fact, the Nachi falls can be seen from some guestrooms and the outdoor bath, a small sliver of white hidden in the lush green forest of the surrounding mountains.
KAMENOI HOTEL NACHI KATSUURA / formerly Katsuura Gyoen is one of the area’s principal accommodations and has been hosting visitors for decades. There are a diversity of room types, including modern guestrooms featuring ensuite outdoor rotenburo hot spring baths. The "Ten 天Designer Suite" on the top floor is one of the nicest guestrooms in the Kii-hanto Peninsula!

Type A Type B Type C Type D Type E Vegetarianism is not common in the Japanese countryside. Please double-check the Vegetarian Type which the service provider can accommodate to make sure that it meets your needs. Often being able to eat trace amounts of the ubiquitous Katsuo Dashi (fish stock) makes it easier to find options.
