 Description

Staying at Mitaki Sanso allows visitors to enjoy the serenity of this sacred site during the less busy periods in the morning and evening.  Meditating in this beautiful natural environment, as pilgrims have been doing for over 1000 years, is a unique chance to touch the soul of Japan’s spiritual origins.

This price plan includes breakfast.

Note: The owner warns that facilities that serve meals on the mountain close at 17:00, earlier in the low season.  So it is important to think about this when you are planning your stay and choosing your price plan.  Including the evening meal is a popular option.

● Child price comes with adult meals with smaller portions and fewer dishes. 
● Infant price comes with Kid's meals.
● If toddlers does not need meals or bedding, only a facility fee 1,650 yen will be charged.
● There is no charge for infants who do not require meals or bedding.

Single travelers may not be able to be accommodated during busy times.

Go To Travel Campaign

The Go To Travel Campaign is an initiative of the federal government of Japan to support the tourism industry which has been hard hit by the Covid-19 pandemic.  When you book via the KUMANO TRAVEL Community Reservation System (managed by the The Tanabe City Kumano Tourism) we are receiving the financial support aid on behalf of you and relaying this funding onto the local service providers. 

This Campaign in only for Japanese citizens or foreign residence of Japan.

IMPORTANT: Cancellation fees are applied as to the terms and conditions of booking based on the original price plan before the discount.

■ Campaign Period

● July 22, 2020 to January 31, 2021 (with February 1 check-out).
※ Dates may be subject to change.
※ Campaign may finish early if all funds are used.
※ Depending on the current situation in Japan concerning Covid-19 the campaign may be suspended.

● Only residents of Japan are eligible for the Go To Travel Campaign (excluding Tokyo until Sep 30, 2020)
※ Proof of residence is needed when checking into the accommodation.

● If any regions including Tokyo are excluded from the Go To Travel Campaign in the future, the rebate will be invalid for travel in this area and subsequently the traveler will be responsible for paying the discounted amount even if the trip is already booked. Normal cancellation policies will apply, and there will be no compensation for cancelled bookings.

● By applying for the Go To Travel Campaign you are agreeing to these conditions and travel responsibly according to appropriate health guidelines such as the "New Travel Etiquette".  Conditions set by the Japanese government.
