客室は１階と2階にあります。お部屋は清潔感があり、ゆったりくつろいでいただける空間となっております。

Excellent service

Mr. Maru was always in touch with us. He also helped us by offering his car for transporting luggage and people from accommodation to train station when we could not get taxi. It was excellent and genuine help.

Maru is a super friendly host, he helped us to deliver the luggages to train station after he learned that we needed to catch up the early train. There’s nothing to complain about the accommodation, but the only problem for us was there’s only one bathroom, we needed to take turns to use it. Apart from that, everything was good.

Simple and cosy. Warm welcome.

No contact. No frills. Quiet location.

We never did meet the owner. It is a guest house that has room for at least three couples. It is a short 10-minute walk from Kii-Katsuura Train Station, located in a quiet residential area. There was no furniture in our room, just two futons. The room was very clean. There is a kitchen and a living room that the other couples in the guesthouse can share. We mostly stayed in our rooms which were on the first floor next to the bathroom, which made it very convenient. There was a washer and dryer in the bathroom, which was nice since we had four days of dirty laundry. It was very reasonable and clean.

Nice local stay

Maru house is a comfortable place in Kiikatsuura. The room is not big, but it’s enough and there is a nice and well equipped kitchen available. The host is nice and super helpful, if you need something. We had a good time

Great place to stay

Maru was so kind to pick me up at the bus station when I arrived. It was relaxing to stay at his house. I enjoyed meeting the other guests and having time alone. Nice to be a 10 minute walk to town and a grocery store. Maru was responsive to all communication and questions before I arrived and while I was there.

Loved this place!

We actually didn't see the manager (Maru) until the morning after our stay. Everything was set up so that we didn't need her at all. Had a great stay though. Had the whole house to ourselves and were able to use the washing machine, kitchen etc. There was even a piano! Had a comfortable sleep and really enjoyed my time in Katsuura. Would recommend!

Maru is awesome! Great stay

Even though we arrived when Maru was out, everything was prepared for our arrival and all important information was clearly laid out for us. We were able to communicate with her through WhatsApp and she was very prompt and helpful with her responses. We were glad to finally meet her later on in the day and she was fun to talk to. She was even so kind as to recommend to us a very famous place for dinner that served local tuna specialties and more. She went the extra mile by driving us there so that we could make it on time before they closed. She also lent us towels to enjoy all of the public foot baths around town. We had an amazing experience thanks to our host!

Comfortable and homely

We stayed one night here. It was a little tricky to find but was otherwise great. Maru and Mami were really helpful
