The price for sending one piece of luggage is a bit high, but if you have multiple pieces of luggage, it is still highly recommended (it will be more cost-effective). Some were very responsible in receiving the luggage from the station, while others delivered it on time in perfect condition.

Torii transferred our group's luggage efficiently from Takata Green Land to Mitaki Sanso. I recommend Torii as they service a variety of areas and hotels along the Kumano Kodo and the luggage labels indicate this company is well organised.

We met at Takijiri-oji as planned - the van was waiting right at the bus stop, which was super helpful. Our bags were then picked up and delivered as scheduled, and treated with care. We had four transfers in total, and no problems at all. I highly recommend Torii! Thank you :)

Thank you for the service. We made an appointment to meet at the station at 6:00 on the day of our departure from Tanabe City. It was still very dark and there was no one around the station, but the shuttle bus people was already there waiting for us at the station very early, even earlier than us. We had a magical trip. The hiking was absolutely beautiful. We stayed at a variety of accommodations and enjoyed them all. We enjoyed the food and had no difficulty following the trail. We followed a suggested itinerary, 5 days, 4 night Nakahechi route. We had no difficulty with bus transportation when needed. We had our luggage transported and our bags arrived safely at our destination.

Luggage service from Yunomine to Shingu - Team Ellis

So we left our bags at Yunomine, never saw the people who picked up the bags as we had already set off on our trek. When we arrived in our hotel in Shingu the bags were in our room. Could not fault the service. 100% recommend!!!

Great service with kind details

We booked luggage transfer with Torii for 2 separate routes (from Tanabe to Kawayu, Kawayu to Shingu) for 4 baggages. Our baggages were handled with care and arrived promptly at our hotels. A pleasant highlight is the little Kumano Kodo wooden plaque that comes on our baggage- that’s our favorite souvenir from this trip!

Luggage transfers

We had 5 peoples luggage to transfer over 5 days of travel. We never met the transport people however their communication via their luggage tags covered all we needed and we could make contact if we needed. The service was exceptionally easy and efficient. Our luggage made it to the next destination each time, all in the condition we left it in. We would highly recommend this service.
