Fudo-in Temple

 Description

Fudo-in is well known for its refined, welcoming atmosphere and peaceful setting, perfect for meditating.  It is well located and within walking distance of all of the major sites in Koyasan.  There are only a limited number of guestrooms in Fudo-in offering a low-key, relaxing experience.

Meals are traditional Buddhist vegetarian cuisine served in the atmospheric Shoin reading room building, dating from the Momoyama period (1573~1603).  The dark natural tones of the wood enhance the natural feel of traditional architecture.  The elegant Shoin reading room is registered as a designated cultural asset of Wakayama Prefecture.

This is a room with ensuite toilet and bath.  The views are not very good.
