Garden Hotel Hanayo is located ~20 minutes walk (less than 5 minutes by taxi) from the Kii-Tanabe station south of Ogigahama beach near the small Minato-ura fishing port. It is a medium sized family run hotel with 44 guestrooms and event facilities for weddings, etc. Most guestrooms are western style with views either onto a section of Tanabe Bay or the city and mountain. Popular with guests are the outdoor hot spring baths that can be privately reserved at reception. There are a few restaurants near the hotel, but often guests head to the Ajikoji entertainment district near the station to enjoy a meal in a local, authentic, Izakaya Japanese pub.

FISH STOCK: Often being able to eat trace amounts of the ubiquitous Katsuo Dashi (fish stock) makes it easier to find vegetarian options.
GLUTEN: For those who are not intorelant to gluten or Celiac then choosing Gluten Free "With Miso and Soy Sauce" will increase your options.
NOTE: It is difficult and not culturally sensitive to change meal requests, or make new meal demands, onsite when you arrive at accommodations. Meal options must be confirmed during the reservation process and respected during your visit.
