Guests can enjoy excellent views of the surrounding ocean, seaside, and local orchards. The drive into the resort is lined with fields and orchards -- mostly ume, or Japanese apricot, a local specialty. At the end of February, the ume flowers are in glorious full bloom. The hotel features buffet restaurants and indoor/outdoor onsen hot spring baths. The nearby Senri-no-hama beach and park are popular with families. With free shuttle from Kii-Tanabe Station, or access by taxi from Minabe Station, guests walking the Kumano Kodo can relax here prior to or after their walk on the pilgrimage trail.
