Kirari Ryujin Ryokan
I was very happy with this over night stop between the long bus ride from Koyasan and starting the Kumano KODO from Kii Tanabe. It is so isolated and there is nothing to do except rest, onsen and eat! The building seems nice and new and beautifully designed , food was great !

My room was beautiful but I had a bit noisy neighbours at evening. Also I was not sure if it was a non-smoking (I don’t remember if I required that when booking).

Nice location, great hospitality service
Very pleased with Kirari Ryujin. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is in a beautiful setting of the river and cherry blossoms. The facilities are very clean and comfortable.

Interesting and relaxing!
I stayed here because I couldn't find accomodation at Ryujin Onsen, but it turned out great this way! Ryujin onsen is within walking distance and the road in between these two cities makes for a really nice walk, surrounded by beautifully colored trees (autumn) and the flowing river. The onsen at the hotel was reaalllyyy nice and the meals were delicious! I believe I was the only foreign guest there and it was such an interesting experience to be in the midst of so many japanese people - mostly elderly but also families and a few youth.
The room was spacious and confortable, I only rated it 3 stars because it was a smoking bedroom and the smell was realy intense (but that is my fault for failing to book a non-smoking room!).

wonderful manager, friendly and helpful staff, delicious buffet meals
Sada,the manager was so kind and checked in with me throughout my stay. One of the staff spoke English and was very helpful to me. Loved the many choices of food for self serve breakfast and dinner buffets!

That was amazing trip ever
This is the first time we have to go wakayama, also Kumano area. First day our hotel choice was Ryujinmura Ryujin, we were visit the Koya at the morning. The place "壇上迦南" was amazing, good for chilling and we felt relax there. We leave from there at 15:00 and trying to go the hotel, but the road number "371" was blocked unfortunately. And we have to change another path of road to go Ryujin, finally we were arrived to the hotel at 00:30. That was an amazing day we spent six hours to cross around half of wakayama, haha. But the onsen and the hotel was great, we felt relax after used the onsen. And thank you so much of the staff from Ryujinmura Ryujin, he try his best to bring us there.

We enjoy our stay there very much. Excellent onsen, and very good services. When they knew that we have missed the bus to our next destination, the staff are very keen to offer their help. They even sent us there which took more than an hour. We appreciated very much for theielp. I k It is a 10/10 service to me.

夕食のバイキングは、他所よりは品数少なめだが丁寧な味とバランスの良い献立で、非常に良かった。ずいぶんおかわりもした。
朝食のバイキングは、やや品数が少なすぎるかと（里芋はおいしかった！）。デザートもあと一息欲しかった。
東北だとアズキ（汁粉・善哉と呼ばれるもの）があるのだが・・・甘さが足りない。
いずれも補充は早く、気配りが出来ているなと感じた。
従業員の皆さん、特に食事の際の笑顔と丁寧さは久々で気持ちよかった。ディズニーに負けていない。
これほど良かったのだが、部屋の評価が低すぎるため、総合点は低い。次回この宿を使うことがあれば、東館は使わない。
カメムシのにおいがする（虫自体もいる）、壁に虫が張り付いている、てんとう虫の群集が窓サッシ内側についている。
昆虫が冬眠のために入り込んだ建物に、暖房が入り、虫が勘違いして活動を開始していると想定。

Kirari Ryujin Ryokan: A Pleasant Remote Getaway
This ryokan was the furthest down the bus line past the ones at Ryujin Onsen "proper", but being that much further upstream and that much more remote made the location that much nicer. The food was varied, delicious, and abundant, and the plum wine was exquisite -- ume being a local specialty, highly recommended! There was plenty of space in the baths, nice amenities, and an public "cooling area" afterwards that had an ice cream vending machine. The staff were friendly and helpful and the building was clean and bright. I would definitely come back here again and would recommend this ryokan to others.

Hospitality Makes the Location More Worthy
Maybe a full indulgence to hot spring in ryujin is not enough for a relaxation for people from big cities. A wild hunting to Gomadan-zan nearby and hanging around the aritisc country side is a lot more exciting.For people who is seeking their inner self, this would be the best place to stay. Food is excellent.The chef head is also a master of buddism. You can't help admiring him for man seldom can read mind and stomach both well like him.In one phrase, Kirari Ryujin Ryokan is the resort for relaxation(wild hunting), purification(bath to body and buddisim to heart) and recreation(art exhibtion, yoga meditation).

周りに、温泉街（みやげ物店など）があると思っていたがなかった。が、久しぶりに温泉に入り、なにもせずにゆっくりできました。お湯は他の方たちもつるつるするとよろこんでいました。
