Family-run Ryokan
Marui Ryokan is a traditional inn located in the mountainous village of Ryujin village 20 minutes south of Ryujin Onsen. It is a family run establishment with a very good reputation for their service and food.
The hot spring bath is attached to the inn via a tunnel under the highway. The bath is lined with cypress wood.
The meals are meticulously made with fresh local ingredients.

FISH STOCK: Often being able to eat trace amounts of the ubiquitous Katsuo Dashi (fish stock) makes it easier to find vegetarian options.
