MU is a well-located condominium and dormitory style hotel near the Shirarahama beach in Shirahama Onsen. The condominium rooms are very popular with those who want the flexibility and freedom of a fully furnished apartment. The dormitory rooms (including female only rooms) are reasonably priced places to stay with access to the communal kitchen, sitting area, and hot spring baths. There is also a private room within the dormitory room. The sitting area is popular for those wanting a space to relax and communicate with other guests. Even the lobby is popular to lounge with its laid-back modern design. There are no showers or baths in the guestrooms but there are communal hot spring baths and private shower facilities. For those enjoying the beach, facilities for washing the sand off and showering before returning to your room are next to the main entrance.
