Description
Artistic Riverside Homestay
This artistic retreat sits close to the Kitayama River and juxtaposes a rural exterior and renovated interior. The owner chose this house after moving to Totsukawa Village for work after university in Osaka and fell in love with the area. The owner studied art at university, and created a stylish homestay, particularly for travelers, visiting artists, and even guests on working holiday. In fact, the meaning of the name "noad" is from "road" and "node" combining natural aspects with the potential for meeting and work. The house is sometimes used for art exhibitions or artist retreats. But travelers will also find their senses stimulated staying here. Western and Japanese-style rooms available, and only one group of guests reserved per day. Longer stays possible. Up to six guests and three rooms. The house sits near the borders of three prefectures: Nara, Wakayama, and Mie. Relatively close to Kitayama Village or Hongu or Shingu by car. It takes about 10 minutes by car from the bus stop.
