“SEN.HAVEN SAKURAI” is a private rental house in the small village of Koguchi, a waystop on the Kumano Kodo between Hongu and Nachisan. This simple Japanese-style house has two bedrooms, and dining room. The bathroom is not a modern unit bath, but basic facilities. Supper is bento-style delivered to the inn, breakfast is simple self-serve, and lunch box.

FISH STOCK: Often being able to eat trace amounts of the ubiquitous Katsuo Dashi (fish stock) makes it easier to find vegetarian options.
GLUTEN: For those who are not intorelant to gluten or Celiac then choosing Gluten Free "With Miso and Soy Sauce" will increase your options.
NOTE: It is difficult and not culturally sensitive to change meal requests, or make new meal demands, onsite when you arrive at accommodations. Meal options must be confirmed during the reservation process and respected during your visit.

- Busses run daily to Koguchi from Shingu Station. To and from Hongu by bus you must transfer at Kanmaru.

One day walk on the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route. Ogumotori-goe from Nachi. Kogumotori-goe from Hongu.

※ If you are making a traverse walk from Hongu to Nachi along the Kumano Kodo, please take a copy of the above bus timetable with you just in case you are unable to complete the journey.
