Nice and clean stay near Hongu
Its a convenient location for us and there is a bus stop just 80m from the accomodation as we are heading back to Osaka after our hike. The main difference for the guesthouse is that dinner is served in a bento box ( but that is already stated in the website ) and is taken inside the comfort of your own room. Dinner is tasty and good but personally after being pampered with host / owner's prepared sit down dinner it feels slightly underwhelming but food is really good and so is next day's breakfast similarly served to your friend. Less interaction with the owner / host .

Hotel style accommodation. Nothing fancy but close to town, clean, comfortable tatami-style Japanese room with an ensuite bathroom.

Staff look seriously, no smiles at all. When you ask question, he say there is a folder in room which you can find your information. Give me toaster oven and i toast the bread IN MY ROOM by myself. This is my 1st time have this experience. After breakfast. i need to bring so many thing out of my room. Main plate, coffee/ tea cup, tea pot, toaster oven etc.. the best thing is... i don't need to share bathroom

Little further up the road from main town area but beautiful place with private rooms with personal bath. Meals were good, staff friendly

Amazing Experience at Blue Sky Guesthouse
We had an amazing experience at Blue Sky Guesthouse. The room we stayed in was extremely comfortable and spacious. The breakfast we received was delicious. The host was very accommodating and kind for our entire stay. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area!

Good location for ending the 2nd day of the Kumano Kodo
Room was great and location perfect. However food wasn’t the best for dinner or breakfast.
