Good Location
Perfect location 5 minutes walk from the station. Very clean and comfortable hotel, they can storage your luggage if it's before 3 pm. Check in and out is easy. Toiletries provided. The cafeteria area is next to the library, nice place to just sitting, relax and enjoy the courtesy coffee or tea. I would stay there again.

New clean and easy
Great price for a really easy and comfortable stay. Breakfast starts after the first bus departs for Takijiri so make sure you have some packed yourself. But coffee was always available! Very friendly and efficient. Thank you

Wonderful location
The time difference for me from home to Japan is 16 hours so I planned a full day in Tanabe to recalibrate. I am so glad I chose the Comfort Inn! They had luggage storage, a lounge with water and coffee, charging stations and a comfy vibe. I felt settled in a lot more quickly. The room was spacious and comfortable. The walk from the station was easy as was site seeing around the area.

First accommodation during Kumano Kodō trip
My stay at Comfort Hotel Kii Tanabe was excellent. Check-in was fast and efficient. Room was clean and had everything I needed. Bathroom was very clean and had all the amenities needed. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Location was about a five minute walk to Kii Tanabe bus stop. Breakfast was delicious! I would 100% recommend this place and would book it again! Thank you for a wonderful first night.

Great starting spot for Kumano Kodo!
We stayed here just for the night prior to departing for our hike. We were only in Tanabe for the evening but would thoroughly recommend Comfort Hotel. The facilities are very well maintained and very clean. We got dinner out but did the buffet breakfast which was a good mix of Japanese and western cuisine. They have great laundry facilities (easy to use and free! washing machine / dryer combo) great if you need a quick laundry prior to embarking on the hike.
