Hotel New Palace Review
Great hotel located in the center of Shingu close to many tourist attractions. Room was clean and comfortable. Onsen was very peaceful.

Great all round accommodation and location
Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room extremely comfortable. Great location, supermarket just around the corner. Would highly recommend.

We liked it
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is on a short distance from Hayatama Taisha Shrine. The breakfast buffet is Japanese but you can easily find something to eat, if you are used with the western style.

Good Place to Stay
The hotel is locate very closed to most of attractions and local restaurants in Shingu. The registration counter in is on the 3rd FL which made it a little hard to find.

Good location, great service.
Just down the road from many of what Shingu has to offer, walking distance from shopping, Hayatama Taisha, and other historical spots. Also close to the local market so you can pick up any provisions you might need. It's also a few blocks from the JR station, so if this is your last day of the Kumano, you can hop a train back to Osaka just down the road. The beds were a bit firm for my preference, but if that's what you like, this place will be perfect. There is a spot on site that offers breakfast, and possibly dinner, but I didn't take advantage of the dinner. The breakfast was a buffet with many great options.
