A resort!!
This place was so cool and had so so many onsen's! I wish we were here for days after the hike was done.

Big hotel with 3 separate wings and multiple onsens
We enjoyed a nice sunset of the town from the outdoor roof garden. The cave onsen were unique and surreal in the moonlight. Meals were buffet style with great variety and choices

A very special place
A beautiful room overlooking the harbor of Katsuura to top out the end of the Kumano Kodo. A huge place with an amazing cave Onsen. I will return here one day, I know that for 100% certainty.

Very nice onsen
We loved the onsen , but the food organisation was very disappointing ( big buffet very busy and noisy ) and didn’t fit in the experience.

Would purposely seek out this place again. It was a very wonderful experience. And the cave onsens set this experience apart. Excellent meal buffets. All in all a great experience

Resort style end to our vacation
This hotel was like a Bond Villain's Lair from the 1970s, converted into a hotel. There were so many interesting parts of this hotel, the variety was our entertainment! The room we were in was in the older Nagisakan building, which needs an update. We also had to double up our futons as they were VERY thin and uncomfortable. Breakfast and dinner buffets were plentiful and delicious. The onsens were wonderful.

The location for this hotel was stunning. While clearly accommodating a large clientele, we were welcomed and provided great service from the ferry ride over to the check-in

Wonderful onsen hotel! But need to depend on shuttle bus or ferry transfer to the hotel which have their schedules and not flexible to explore out of hotel. Too bad that tuna auction at fish market closed on Saturday

Excellent
I was surprised with my last sleeping location but that was extremely good surprised Location beautiful with sea view Food delicious Natural onsent in cave was cherry on top my ending Cumano travel.
