Hotel was a little dated, and the location was hard to get to from the end of the trail. The hotel is currently in the middle of remodeling. Although, the baths at the cave were a great experience.

A large hotel, rooms with a sea view! Perfect! The onsen were beautiful – a sort of cave directly connected to the sea. Breakfast and dinner were ‘all-you-can-eat’ buffets in a huge room. It was great fun trying all the delicacies. But finding your way around the rooms, the onsen and the dining room was a real maze – very tricky ; ) – but you can always ask the friendly staff, who’ll be happy to show you the way. ; )

Great, unique hotel undergoing renovation
It was a pity that two onsen and the unique system of connections between hotels were closed for renovations. But what we could experience was memorable and enjoyable.

Very comfortable hotel to relax
Hotel Urashima was comfortable, and we particularly enjoyed the cave baths. However, it was not ideal for this type of tour. Reaching the town center required relying on the hotel's shuttle service, which added extra planning. Due to ongoing construction, we were also surprised to find that the restaurant and breakfast area were only accessible by shuttle, making the morning logistics especially cumbersome. While we understood the hotel's location before booking and had limited alternatives, the additional shuttle transfers made the overall experience less convenient than expected.

A resort!
Wonderful resort with so many amenities for our last stay. I learned after the fact that the outdoor baths are not tattoo friendly... but that was more user error. Everything was welcoming and delicious. The buffet might have changed my life it was so delicious. They even had a live tuna filleting experience and it was so cool to eat tuna fresh!

Modern sprawling big Hotel. Buffet style meals - loved the free flow beer, wine, and sake. Awesome Cav Onsen.
