Great place to stay when walking kumano Kodo
Wow, what a beautifull home! We enjoyed staying here two nights when walking the Kumano Kodo. The house is clean, big and it has lots of facilities. There are several busses that stop nearby. There are restaurants and a convenience store.

今回、熊野庵 に宿泊させていただきましたが、本当に素晴らしい滞在でした。お部屋はとても清潔で快適で、落ち着いた雰囲気の中でゆっくり過ごすことができました。 特に印象的だったのは、ホストの対応の良さです。メッセージの返信がとても早く、いつも丁寧に対応してくださり、終始安心してやり取りができました。また、荷物の発送についても親切に対応していただき、本当に助かりました。 とても温かく、親身で、細やかな気配りが感じられる素敵な宿です。熊野古道に来る方にはぜひおすすめしたいです。また機会があればぜひ利用させていただきたいと思います。

Beautiful and elegant setting
Naomi was friendly, attentive and easy to communicate with before and during our stay. The lodging was gorgeous, comfortable and a wonderful place to rest after a long day of hiking. I highly recommend it. Our only challenge was finding food to eat. Things closed in Ukegawa by 6 (we were there in February - maybe the off season) and busses didn't run very late between Ukegawa and Hongu. We managed and Naomi was willing to shuttle us.
