Beautiful view and wonderful host
The view from the house is breathtaking! We found ourselves (7 of us) kept standing by the wide window in the living room staring at the mountain view, the clouds or fog. The house was quite far from the end of day1 Kumano Kodo in Takahara, which we were aware of, but the host came and picked us up in his car and even took us to the grocery to grab some food before heading home (the grocery actually only 5 min away from the house). The fridge was stocked with water and some drinks and the kitchen had all we needed to prepare foods, including salt, pepper, oil & soy sauce. The host was friendly and he even joined us and helped taking our pics. In the morning we had some breakfast provided, some pastry, fruits & yogurt and then the host took us back to the same spot he picked us up the day before, to continue our Kumano Kodo hiking. We had a memorable stay in the house. Thank you!

Lovely, clean and spacious
A perfectly clean and comfortable stay and really appreciated the drive to and from the trail but it is ashame it is not in the trail. We would though definitely use it again
