Nice spot
Beautiful view of the ocean, hotel was clean. The town of Katsuura is sleepy so it was nice to have food provided by the hotel. They also allow you to use the cool cave onsen on the coast at the hotel across the way, I think this is offered for free, we did not go because we didn’t have time.

Excellent location
Location is excellent, near the station and view on the harbor. Room, food and Onsen were also very good. A really beautiful experience after finishing the Kumano Kodo. I would strongly recommend this accomodation.

The building was a little old but the room was clean and comfortable. Our room had a beautiful view of the inlet where the fishing boats came in and out and the little ferry boat that went over to the other hotel. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the service felt very special.

Free pass to Urashima onsen was fantastic—we really appreciated having that option.

Amazing!!
A wonderful treat at the end of the Kumano kodo trekking! Lovely turtle boat ride to the cave onsen which is wonderful! Would love to stay here again! Food is superb!!!
