A lovely experience! Our guide was very knowledgeable, and after 4 days of hiking we were thrilled to sit back and let the water carry us to the coast. The boats are small and nimble, and the whole ride is incredibly scenic as well as educational.

Beautiful and informative tour down the river. Drop off in Shingu was quite convenient.

Uplifting
This was definitely a highlight of our Kumano Kodo trip. Our guide Kyoko-san (a ray of pure sunshine) told us interesting stories in a most entertaining way. We also loved the piece she played on her flute - I'm certain there were no dry eyes on the boat. Thank you Kumano Travel and especially Kyoko-san for a very special afternoon.

Boat ride
It was a refreshing ride, as we have been hiking for the past few days and a boat ride was a welcome change. Wonderful sceneries along the river

Traditional Boat ride
Overall is good. Would appreciate the organizer can offer a raincoat to participate when there’s rain.
