Thank you so much Tomoko San for making our boat trip so exceptional. Your warmth and patience in answering all our questions made us feel so welcome, and your marvelous flute playing on the water was easily one of the most memorable parts of our entire trip.

A lovely experience! Our guide was very knowledgeable, and after 4 days of hiking we were thrilled to sit back and let the water carry us to the coast. The boats are small and nimble, and the whole ride is incredibly scenic as well as educational.

Beautiful and informative tour down the river. Drop off in Shingu was quite convenient.

Uplifting
This was definitely a highlight of our Kumano Kodo trip. Our guide Kyoko-san (a ray of pure sunshine) told us interesting stories in a most entertaining way. We also loved the piece she played on her flute - I'm certain there were no dry eyes on the boat. Thank you Kumano Travel and especially Kyoko-san for a very special afternoon.
