Beautiful food
The most luxurious accommodate on the route. Very classy, friendly, beautiful hotel. I loved the outdoor onsen and enjoying a cold glass of milk afterwards. The walk from the hotel across the skybridge is very dreamy. 10/10 would come back.

サービスと接客がとても良く、温泉もたくさんあったので滞在楽しかったです。
クリスマスということもありお客さんがあまりいなかったからかもしれませんが、スタッフの方々の接客がとても良く、皆さんフレンドリーで楽しい滞在となりました。建物内の大浴場が故障中で使えませんでしたが、離れたところに貸切風呂や大浴場があるのでそれだけで十分楽しめました。発心門王子への送迎サービスもあるので本当に助かりました。

Central hotel for the Kumano Kodo
Since I booked my Kumano Kodo trip quite late, I couldn’t find accommodations along the way so I opted for a central location and I have used buses to reach the various Kumano Kodo points to be able to do the pilgrimage. I would definitely do it again. Hotel is very nice and the staff super friendly and helpful. Meals are delicious and sophisticated, and the menu changes everyday. There are bus stops nearby so it is easy to go to any stop on the Kumano Kodo. There are many baths options which are all great. In the room there is a yukata to use to go to the various baths in watarase onsen, and there are also wooden massage tools which are SO nice after a day of walking !

A perfect stay!
An absolutely lovely Onsen hotel! I especially enjoyed the private rotenburo for the hotel guests, but the public rotenburo is also very beautiful. The walk across the bridge provides a wonderful view. The room was very large and comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious. The personnel at the reception was especially friendly and helpful. The shop had a large variety of beautiful omiyage. I enjoyed the time there very much. The free shuttle service to Shirahama was very convenient.
