Chikatsuyu Pilgrim Villas
"YUME (by Happiness Chikatsuyu)" (Yume means 'dream') is a set of private Japanese style villas in the heart of Chikatsuyu villages steps away from the Kumano Kodo Nakahechi pilgrimage route. Each cabin is self-contained with ensuite toilet and bath. The simple, classic, clean design with Japanese mats, and wood finishing makes it easy to relax. The nearby communal dining hall serves handmade meals and serves as a gathering place for guests.
The gracious owner is Ms. Muya, who's dream was to create a space that bridges the local community and travelers. A place where guests can enjoy private accommodations to rest their travel-weary souls and a offer a warm communal space where people can gather and connect. She want this place to be more than just accommodation, but a place where different stories intertwine, where your journey can mix and become a part of someone else's.

FISH STOCK: Often being able to eat trace amounts of the ubiquitous Katsuo Dashi (fish stock) makes it easier to find vegetarian options.
GLUTEN: For those who are not intorelant to gluten or Celiac then choosing Gluten Free "With Miso and Soy Sauce" will increase your options.
NOTE: It is difficult and not culturally sensitive to change meal requests, or make new meal demands, onsite when you arrive at accommodations. Meal options must be confirmed during the reservation process and respected during your visit.
