Review: Beautiful experience
We very much enjoyed the stay at Suzushiro rental house. A warm and personal reception was followed by one of our best meals during our pilgrimage, served by our host in the cottage. The cottage is large enough and very cosy. The misty morning was wonderful. The lunch box, which was delivered by another supplier, could be improved a lot.

An amazing private cottage with stunning views and one of the best meals we had the entire time we were in Japan.

Suzushiro was a really special overnight stay...the cabin stay was unique and our host was so attentive, kind and an amazing chef! Our best accommodation on the trek!

We loved our stay here. The cottage was modern and comfortable, with a wonderful view down into the valley. Dinner and breakfast, delivered to our cottage, was delicious. Our host was outstandingly friendly and welcoming. He even gave us a lift to Chikatsuyu in his own car (a one-hour round trip) and arranged an early check-in there when I was unwell and unable to walk that day.

Review: By far our best stay in all of Japan
Staying at Suzushiro was the highlight of our entire trip of Japan. The rental house blew us away. It was wonderful! The view was breathtaking. The house was perfect in every way. The food was amazing - hand delivered to the house. The location was right off the trail. STAY HERE IF YOU CAN! IT IS AMAZING!

Review: Perfect Paradise
We were treated to a very comfortable and clean, beautifull cottage built by our host. Amazing views and home made food catering for meat, fish and vegetarian meals that deserve a Michelin star. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended on all accounts.
All comforts had been thought of and made available.
We arrived an hour before check in and walked up the road to a great cafe called Meguru that made wonderful home made cakes.
It would have been great to have been able to check in a little earlier and indulge in this place for longer!
