Review: Beautiful cottage, friendly hosts
Our best stay during our visit to Kumano Kodo. Mahito-san and Sakura-san were very friendly - they explained the facilities in the home, cooked amazing dinner and breakfast meals, and introduced the town to us (do stop by at Meguru for some cake!). The cottage is wonderful - modern and homey. Amazing views, well-equipped, we felt right at home! Highly recommended to anyone!

This was the best accommodation that we experienced.So nice to have this house to ourselves.Wonderful view of the valley.The landlord is a great chef and provided the best dinner and breakfast that we had in Japan

Excellent host, superb service, delicious food, quiet location with a great view, extremely clean and comfortable, wonderful facilities (including high-tech soaking tub).
Not only would I be happy to stay here again, I’d like to live here!

Stayed one night. Very helpful, friendly and nice family.
The house was clean, delightful, cozy, beautiful and has a nice view from the back porch.
The supper was homemade by the owner self and deliciously prepared!!!
I loved the Yukata they prepared for me:). Wish I could stay longer.

The host is friendly and helpful, he delivered the dinner and breakfast ontime and well-explained all the function of the house to me. The house is amazing! I love the balcony and the view. It was the most perfect sunset I had ever had in this trip. The lunch box was lovely.

Our stay was wonderful. The house is so stylish, hip but traditional Japanese. A real dream home on a mini scale. Our son loved the loft. The dinner and breakfast that Suzoshira san brought to us was incredible and the lunch pack was a stand out. We felt so privileged to sleep in this divine natural location with such comfort.
