Altier Hotel
Altier Hotel had friendly, efficient staff who were very helpful, even organising luggage transfer. The breakfast was extensive and delicious. A good start to the Kumano Kodo walk.

Close to the train station, helpful front office staff and very good breakfast with variety of foods, including live eggs cooking counter.

If you’re looking for an overnight hotel close to the station and restaurants, Altier hotel is perfect. It’s a 5 minute walk from the station and 3 minute walk from several restaurants. Its a good base to start your Kumano Kodo trek. A simple and clean hotel. The staff were helpful especially the lady preparing the breakfast.
