Hola. Mis padres y yo estamos contentos con cómo fue todo pero hubo un alojamiento que no nos gustó nada. Había muy poca comida y la poca bebida que había la teníamos que pagar aparte, por lo que no creo que sea justo después de pagar el paquete. Aparte de eso, tampoco había ningún tipo de herramienta de higiene como cepillos, cuchilla de afeitar, peines ni nada. Y el trato tampoco fue amable como en el resto de los alojamientos. Ese día no estuvimos a gusto. El resto nos encantó. Un saludo.

As noted clearly in the NOT INCLUDED section that (Miscellaneous personal expenses such as drinks, laundry, shopping, etc.) are not included in the package. We apologize if this was not clear. There are a variety of types of stays along the Kumano Kodo, including rental homes with limited toiletries that are normally included in hotel style type of facilities. It is best to check the details of each facility on the KUMANO TRAVEL website to confirm amenities. Thank you again for your feedback.

Kumano 5 day trip
So well organised. From the information pack collection in kii -Tanabe to our hotel in kii-Katsuurawe really didn't g he ace to think much beyond walking! The variety of accomodation was great - from friendly home stays to air b&b to nice hotel with k on sen and great food. We changed the itinerary for the last day, and instead of getting the bus to shingu and then Nachi Taisha, we caught the early bus to Koguchi and walked to Nachi Taisha: I think this is a better combination; although we never went to Hayatama Taisha at shingu ( we could have on our last morning..) finishing walking down into Nachi Taisha was a much better finish

We didn't receive bus pass in our package and tried to contact by email many times but no any response to help solve this problem.
The Kumano travel hiking arrangement, accommodation, meals and luggage shuttle were all excellent. Thank you very much. The only regret is that there was no bus pass in our package. We don't know how this mistake occurred. We contacted to Mayu staff on Nov.15 which the first day of the trip and totally sent three emails to ask help. But there was no any reply until the end of the trip. We express our deep regret for the bus pass problem and demand the compensation.
Thank you for your feedback. Yes, a full refund for the bus pass was completed. Unfortunately this was missed in the welcome pack that needed to be delivered to the accommodation because of late arrival request. During long weekends all e-mails are not monitored, so communicating via the MyChat function is recommended. Thank you again for your feedback and we are glad that you enjoyed your trip.

Excellent trek
We gave Kumano travel carte blanche and are very happy with the result. The documentation was excellent, our luggage always preceded our arrival and the accomodation was varied, ranging from good to superb. We especially liked our stay with Yumi at Oyado Sena. The food was plentiful and delicious. It was very nice to have a bus pass and not have to search for change whenever we rode a bus. Everything was smooth.

Wonderful and well organized trip
We enjoyed the perfect organisation of the accommodations, the luggage transport and the daily tours. In advance we had only little time to prepare the hike, so we were thankful for the bus schedules, maps, suggested short cuts and organised transportation e.a. from the Kumano Kodo Travel Agency. The communication with the travel agency was always friendly, with direct response and helpful solutions from start of booking until our last day of the trip. The agency’s assessments regarding the difficultly and duration of the trip were helpful for us and realistic. We enjoyed very much the encounter with our host on our second day and would have appreciated to have more of these personal moments. It‘s absolutely necessary to have map or internet navigation in order to find the accommodations because they are not all included in the maps.

Amazing experience. We want to do it again!
The whole experience was amazing! The whole journey is well planned and we received plenty of information to know what to expect. It can be a bit overwhelming to do the planning so it was great to have the option of the package, which included really good accommodation, food and luggage forwarding. The guided walk on the first day was also a good way to get started and get to know a bit more about the Kumano Kodo history and culture. It was also nice to be part of a group, to share this experience and to support each other throughout the journey. Thank you everyone at Kumano travel for organising this and to all the lovely hosts at Kumano Kodo.

Amazing experience!
Everything was incredible. I highly recommend the self-guided tour - it had plenty of detailed information to feel safe, informed and taken care of while being independent and having space to do what we wanted. We were very impressed with the hosts and guest houses/hotels. We loved the variety of accommodations and food and felt very welcome.
