Pilgrims Joe
John was a very welcoming host. He is a professional chef, and his food was fantastic. We had some unique dishes that we did not have anywhere else. The location was very difficult to find because no walking directions are provided in the reservation information, there are no signs in town, and it is not shone on the trail map. Had we not taken screenshot of the directions off of google the night before, we would not have been able to find it. I highly recommend adding walking directions to the reservation information.

The host, is incredibly warm, hospitable, and attentive, thoughtfully catering to each of our needs. His cooking skills are outstanding, featuring creative dishes paired with seasonal ingredients. The accommodation is well-equipped, comfortable, and inviting. It’s truly a wonderful place—definitely worth visiting again and highly recommended!

The food!!!
The place is cute. The host is so welcoming. The bathrooms are clean and large. The food is absolutely amazing!! And very generous. The location is great for starting the long hike.

Amazing meals
John was super friendly and an fabulous chef. We ate so well for each meal, including the packed lunch for our hike. Everything was presented beautifully on top of the excellent taste. We had a great night sleep.
