Shirahama Daiichi Taxi is a transportation company that covers the southern portion of the Kii Peninsula plus Koyasan.  It is based in the Tanabe and Shirahama area.  They have normal taxis as well as Jumbo taxis.

Sanko Taxi is a transportation company based in Totsukawa, Nara prefecture in the heart of the Kii mountain range with normal and jumbo taxis. 

They offer services between sites such as Totsukawa Onsen and Hongu.  They also have plans to connect the trailheads and isolated villages of the Kumano Kodo Kohechi pilgrimage included Nishinaka bus stop, Miura-guchi, and Omata. 

In addition to one way taxi services they also have some sightseeing courses to the mountain-top Tamiki-jinja sanctuary along the Omine Okugake-michi pilgrimage route, and the scenic Hatenashi settlement with panoramic views—places that are not accessible via public transport.
