Luggage Shuttle (Kodo-no-Mori)
Description
Luggage shuttle service from Kii-Tanabe station or Tanabe accommodation to Takahara, a ridge top community overlooking the Hatenashi Range on the Kumano Kodo.
You can meet the luggage shuttle staff in front of the JR Kii-Tanabe station. This is convenient because then you do not need to take your luggage on the local bus to Takijiri.
This price plan is often used by pilgrims who are walking from Takijiri-oji to Takahara. Takijiri-oji is a 40 minute local bus ride from Kii-Tanabe station.

●Daily luggage shuttle service needs to be booked at least 10 days in advance.
●Online booking for the luggage shuttle services is only available if "all accommodations (drop-off) are booked via Kumano Travel".
● Price is based on number of per pieces of luggage.
● There is an additional charge for each additional piece of luggage.
● Please place this price plan into your cart and input the number of pieces of luggage in the request/comments box during the reservation request process.

Luggage pick-up is available at 7:45 or 12:15. Other pick-up times can be arranged.
Possible pick-up locations:
● Tanabe Tourist Information Center next to the JR Kii-Tanabe station.
● Tanabe accommodations.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Tanabe Tourist Information Center does not run this luggage shuttle service, but rather another service provider.
This center is only a meeting point for you and the luggage shuttle staff.
Please do NOT give your luggage to Tanabe Tourist Information Cente Staff, but DIRECTLY to the luggage shuttle staff.
For pick-up at Tanabe Tourist Information Center, a SET TIME needs to be organized, and kept.
Please choose the meeting time when making the reservation request.
If there are changes to this time, please inform us as soon as possible.
