Best meals in all of Japan
The experience here after a huge first day hiking was amazing. Beautiful and friendly hosts comfortable rooms and bedding. The bath was just right. It’s hard to put in words how wonderful the food was. Both dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended

A wonderful place!
Such a homey atmosphere, with comfortable accommodations, a nice bath, and AMAZING food. A very nice, family style environment to spend the night between hiking days. The house cat named Ocha was very cute as well. Would highly recommend!

The meals at Minshuku Tsugizakura are exquisite!!! And they have anything/everything that a traveller needs or wants.

Wonderful hospitality and great food!
Our hosts were so lovely and the 10 course meal just amazing! Our lovely chef came out after the meal and it was great to meet him! All guests sat at one table which was great for interaction!

Absolutely blown away
This night was the highlight of our hike and entire trip in Japan. The hosts were amazing and made us feel very comfortable in their house. Our beds were very comfortable and we ended up having two rooms. And the food delicious and a masterful showcase of the chef's abilities. It was an 8 course dinner and everything was just perfect. Breakfast and lunch were equally good and exceeded expectations in every way.

料理が絶品でした
大雨の中を歩いて到着となりましたが、濡れた雨具など乾かすところを用意していただきありがたかったです。 夕食、朝食は大変美味しく量もたっぷりでした。夕食中に獅子舞が来てくれたので楽しい時間を過ごすことができたのがさらに良い思い出です。 お弁当もお願いしましたが、具材たっぷりで疲れた体に沁みました。 優しい旦那さん、女将さんのおもてなしでゆったり過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました。
