We used the Kumano Travel system last time we traveled by bus in this area and this time (as actual pilgrims) it did not disappoint once again. The hosts were lovely, the food was incredible and the onsens were restorative! We felt so cared for both times we used the Kumano Travel system. Domo Arigato Gozaimasu! You meet so many people on the trail and at the guesthouses, and all the hosts were kind and hospitable. Trail is easy to follow, though exhausting in places, the stunning majestic views make up for the sore knees. I was able to have vegetarian food in all my places which was also a win! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!
