Smooth Booking and Excellent Service I was very satisfied with the booking for the 4 days through from Hongu to Nachi. Checking into ryokans/hotels were all very smooth and the luggage service made sure that everything was waiting for me at the next hotel every day. I was late for my scheduled luggage pickup on the first day and they even called to check on my status and made sure to have the luggage service wait the extra hour for my train to come in which was extremely appreciated. Would definitely book with Kumano travel again if I ever try the trail in the future! Everything was timely planned and in perfect sync. We would have appreciated a bit more information on the temples, the paths and length to have planned our pase, for example we had no time to visit the last one in Nachi, we arrived just in time for the last bus to go to the hotel. Everything from accommodation to the luggage shuttles worked perfectly. Accommodations were very diverse but good for the purpose of hiking. The bento boxes and luggage services are very hassle free. However, I would have loved to walk the full day prior to Hongu but luggage drop off was very time dependent. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable trip.
