Review: Best stay on the Kumano Kodo

This was our favorite stay on the Kumano Kodo, and one of the best stays during our entire month in Japan. The house and room are lovely, food outstanding, but what made the stay particularly enjoyable are the hosts, Naomi and Yasuyuki. Their hospitality and warmth can't be matched. Naomi patiently outlined an alternative hiking route that we followed and really appreciated. We would heartily recommend this accommodation to anyone passing through Chikatsuyu. You will not be disappointed.

Review: Wonderful guest house

We enjoyed very much our stay with Naomi.
Room was large and nice with balcony.
Naomi was super kind and gave us detailed explanations and guidance.
Dinner was delightful in home atmosphere with all guests, so we met wonderful people. It was a great stay.

The hosts made our stay amazing! They prepared a wonderful japanese dinner for and offered kimonos to all guests. All food was fresh and home made; even the lunch box for the next day.
Accommodation was cute, wide, and absolutely clean.

Review: MOST EXCELLENT HOSTS

Naomi and her husband were excellent hosts; always attentive to the needs of travellers to the extent of even accompanying me to the hospital to attend to an injury in the foot. Highly recommended for those who consider the hosts an integral part of the overall experience.
