Review: Wonderful Stay!

Naomi and Yasu took great care of us. Three delicious meals, prepared (or packed, for the bento lunch) with care. Lots of local ingredients, even locally hunted and stuffed deer sausage! Spacious tatami room, hot bath, and cold beer. They are both former high-tech workers from the city who wanted to live in the country, so we had great conversations with with them.

Review: Incredible

This was one of my favourite stays in Japan, ever. Our hosts were so incredibly nice, and the prepared meals were amazing - self and locally produced ingredients, loved it. We also had such nice conversations! The house and its surroundings are beautiful, Chikatsuyu really is a lush and relaxed place. I enjoyed my stay so much, highly recommended, I'd love to come again.

A very dear couple give you a kind welcome in English, because the wife is an English teacher. They try to give you the best accomodation and they want you have an unique experience of the place

Review: More then just walking

The owners really enjoy having travelers stay. You feel this from there first encounter.
FREE electric bike rental as well. All the homegrown food you can stomach with a helping of great cultural history for dessert
These landlords make this place an integral part of life on the trail and are highlights on our trip

Review: Lovely couple and idyllic location

Lovely, spacious guest room with garden view and the upper end of the village. All meals are just amazing with fresh food from the own garden. The hosts are more than caring and elevate the whole experience on a new level. Highly recommended.

Review: Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay! The (vegetarian) meals were delicious, most of the food was homegrown. The owners were very nice and spoke English. We really enjoyed our stay!
