Naomi-san and her husband were incredibly nice and helpful. They were so kind, made us excellent meals, and their house is beautiful. Naomi-san gave us great advice about the the trek, even drove us to the log bridge the next morning. A highlight of my trip to Japan!

Review: Naomi the best

We had a Great stay and overall Experience at SORA Guesthouse, Naomi and her husband are really great Host, it was a pleasure to chat with them and eat all together, the day after they even gave us a lift with their car to shorten the walk due to forecasted Rain.. We felt like in a family, like on the camino! Their House is beautiful, we had a view of their garden, very relaxing and overall very clean!

Review: SORA Chikatsuyu stay

This was the most memorable accommodation that we stayed at on the Kumano Kodo Nakahechi walk as our hosts Naomi and her husband are such beautiful people and made us so welcome, with lovely smiles, delicious meals, and even bikes which we rode to a swimming river which Naomi told us about. The rooms were very comfortable. Naomi’s English is excellent so it was very easy to converse . Thank you so much for this beautiful stay. Review: A lovely place in Chikatsuyu

Naomi-san and her husband were very lovely hosts and generously drove us to Yunomine the next morning mid-torrential downpour as we wouldn't be able to hike that day. The room was cozy with a lovely patio facing the garden, and the meals were delicious.

Review: Best place we stayed in Japan

The hosts are so nice and we really enjoyed our separate annex in Chikatsuyu. Meals were very tasty and prepared with much care and we enjoyed them all together which made for nice conversation. Highly recommended!
