Excellent and convenient accommodation in Hongu.
We loved everything about the Blue Sky Guesthouse. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and my vegetarian husband was fully catered for. The washing machine facilities were appreciated. Everything was clean and worked perfectly.

Nice and clean stay near Hongu
Its a convenient location for us and there is a bus stop just 80m from the accomodation as we are heading back to Osaka after our hike. The main difference for the guesthouse is that dinner is served in a bento box ( but that is already stated in the website ) and is taken inside the comfort of your own room. Dinner is tasty and good but personally after being pampered with host / owner's prepared sit down dinner it feels slightly underwhelming but food is really good and so is next day's breakfast similarly served to your friend. Less interaction with the owner / host .

Japanese hotel style accommodation
Hotel style accommodation. Nothing fancy but close to town, clean, comfortable tatami-style Japanese room with an ensuite bathroom.
