The stay was alright for one night. It was the least clean out of all accommodations. The bathroom also seemed dated. However, the town the hotel is in is absolutely wonderful. The receptionist showed us a tuna map with all the recommended places to eat. We were also able to experience the tuna auction and market!

Cozy hotel by the JR station

The hotel room was small, but it was a great place to retire to after completing the Kumano Kodo. It is right by the JR station/bus stops. Reception was easy and there is free luggage storage.

Nice hotel with great location

Very nice and helpful staff! They gave us great information about the town and tips about restaurants and things to do. The room could be a bit updated but it had everything we needed so it was fine for us. Great location and easy check in and out.

This is a very simple wee hotel with basic rooms but each had their own ensuite which was good. The people were incredibly helpful. We chose not to eat here as was a small seaside village with lots of good seafood restaurants to choose from.

Great value

Although the room was dated and had no view, the value of the hotel was fantastic. The location was great. They were very helpful with us leaving our luggage in the morning and on checkin. They gave recommendations on the restaurants which was very appreciated. It was great to not sleep on the floor and also have our own bathroom. There was no meals included. It was easy to find meals outside.
