Excellent
I was surprised with my last sleeping location but that was extremely good surprised Location beautiful with sea view Food delicious Natural onsent in cave was cherry on top my ending Cumano travel.

Amazing onsen baths
The cave onsens in this hotel are out of this world. An experience not to be missed! Rooms were comfy and it was useful that there was a Lawson within the huge hotel complex so I could pick up some snacks and gifts.

great ocean view from the room! It would be great if there could be some notice beforehand about the shuttle bus and shuttle boat of the hotel, as that would save us half an hour walking arriving at the lobby.

Be prepared
I looked at photos online of Hotel Urashima and was so excited to stay here. The hotel is a little tricky to navigate with a few different wings of the hotel. What I didn’t realise is that they offer ‘Westerner’ and ‘Japanese’ rooms. There’s a stark difference between the two! After days of hiking, if you want a shower and to lay in a bed, make sure you book a Westerner room!
