Great environment and classic style of accommodation. Clean and functional. Kind man who welcome us and good service/food. Staying at an old school of Japan was such a unique experience for me. I enjoyed it a lot.

中辺路の中継地点として
請川から小口で１泊し那智大社へ行きました😄 立地はサイコーで夏は近くの川で泳ぐと気持ち良さそうでした。 部屋は和室で風呂、便所別。お風呂は大浴場が１つのみ。満室なら入る時に順番待ちが出来るかもと思いました。 料理は豪勢ではないですが、とても美味しく、お腹いっぱいになった。 また自然の中で食べるお弁当が美味しかった。 何よりスタッフの方々がとても優しく、いい思い出いっぱいの旅を手助けしてくれてありがとうごさいました。

The room was a traditional Japanese-style room with a separate bath and toilet. There was only one communal bath. I thought there might be a queue to get in if the place was fully booked. The food wasn’t lavish, but it was very tasty and I was completely full. The packed lunch we ate surrounded by nature was delicious too. Above all, the staff were incredibly kind; thank you so much for helping to make this a trip full of wonderful memories.

Lovely, happy experience with communal dining and warm service
This was a great experience. A particular highlight was a large and comfortable room with the constant sound of the river flowing right next to it.
