Everything was lovely
You just can't expect a better guest house. The outdoor onsen bath was amazing, and being across the street from Tsuboyu.

Rooms are a bit on the small side. No private bathroom. Meals were excellent and well beyond expectations. The hosts were great.

Great experience
The hosts were very generous. I needed laundry doing and although they didn’t have a washing machine, my host had his wife launder my clothes and deliver them dry by the time dinner was complete. Lovely stay and close to the Tsuboyu a visit to which completed my stay and a great end to the Kumano walk.

What a Treat!
This stay was wonderful after a long journey. I was super fortunate to have gotten a room with a balcony and a private Onsen. I stayed two nights and am so glad I did because I quite literally hung out in my room and relaxed in the hot springs water multiple times during my stay. It was restorative! The meals were lovely and the hosts were super friendly.
