Good location nearby to Kii Tanabe train and bus station

Walking distance to Kii Tanabe train & bus station. Strategic location especially for early start on bus to Kumano Kodo tail head. Rooms basic, sufficient for 1 night stay. Nearby to Family Mart for groceries.

Great location next to Kii Tanabe train & bus station

Good location close by to Kii Tanabe train and bus station. Rooms basic with simple squat toilet and bathroom. Owner was kind enough to provide luggage storage for Kumano Kodo walk.

Lovely location

This ryokan was in an ideal location for starting the Kumano Kodo trail. The host was most helpful and the accomodation very authentic.

A lovely stopover.

The accommodation is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from Kii Tanabe train station/bus stop - making it an ideal place to stopover before catching the bus to the Kumano Kodo trail the next day. Our host was friendly, spoke very good English, and even allowed us to store some extra baggage in the Ryokan for the duration of our Kumano Kodo hike free of charge! We are very grateful for this kindness. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was tasty, plentiful and nutritious.
