Our stay was enjoyable - however, there was a very loud group that made noise late at night and kept many of us awake for several hours. Someone should have asked them to be quiet.

Just perfect! Loved the food, the rituals, the atmosphere, and the design of the temple and rooms. Baths (onsen) are shared and only open in the late afternoon and evening.

It was a great experience. Whole Koyasan has great atmosphere. Food at the accommodation was excellent. Being able to attend a Buddhist ceremony was an experience of a lifetime.
