Yuasa Town is famous as the origin of soy sauce in Japan. The streets in its historic old town are lined with white-walled storehouses, buildings with heavy tiled roofs and delicate lattices that are more than 100 years old.
Let our guide take you back in time and lead you through the old town landscape in an easy-to-understand and fun way.
During the walk, you can visit the Yuasa Machigoto Soy Sauce Museum where you can experience the history of handmade soy sauce factory. Enjoy the charm of Old Town Yuasa, fill your senses with the salty sauce culture that has spread around the world!
The guide will meet guests at the JR Kii-Tanabe Station, ride with them to Yuasa for the tour, then board the train with them from Yuasa to complete the tour at Kansai International Airport Station.
