Wakayama Local Guide Association is a local group founded in 2006 with the goal to introduce both Japanese and Non-Japanese alike to the Kumano region. Wakayama Local Guide Association has registered licensed English-speaking guides well versed in the history and culture of the area. Using a local guide makes a visit to the area richer and more fulfilling. It is also a great way to travel responsibly by supporting the local community. If any of the conditions below apply to you, the guide will be cancelled. ・If you have a fever (37.5 degrees Celsius or higher), cough, diarrhea, fatigue, loss of taste or smell. ・If you have been diagnosed as infected by the novel coronavirus or in contact with anyone who has. ・If you have a family member or close acquaintance who has the novel coronavirus. ・If you come from a country currently required to quarantine for 14 days before coming to Japan, have recently visited one of those countries or if you have had close contact with anyone from one of those countries. |
