Review: Best place ever

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this place. The place was clean, cozy, and comfortable; the host was very friendly and kind. The dinner was superb!!! The host worked as a professional chef and the meal was more memorable than what we had at our wedding. The host even came out to look for us when we didn’t arrive there on time since we took a bit longer to finish our hike. What a kind gentleman. 10/10 recommended!!

Wonderful guest house. Hide was a fabulous host and cook. And great to be able to swim in the nearby river given the heat of summer. the only reason I rated the meals down was that the lunch bento box provided by the Lodge was meat-based when we'd requested no meat in our meals.

Review: Favorite Place.

This was our favorite spot on the trail. It is set in the beautiful village of Koguchu. The owner was warm cordial and funny, not to mention a phenomenal cook. We loved the short amount of time we got to spend with him and our meals there were the best on the trail. Not to be missed.

Very nice host in a great location. Accompanied our schedule. Great sashimi dinner and boxed lunch too.
