Hide is a welcoming and helpful host. Room is outfitted with everything you need, including cozy sweats to change into when you come in from the cold and wet. Meals are wonderful. This is a true homestay, and I can't recommend it enough!

Review: A Wonderful Homestay of Delicious Food and Hospitality

Spending the night at Minshuku Momofuku was a highlight of our trip over the Kumano Kodo. The food was excellent, fresh and welcome after a long day of hiking. The beds were comfortable and clean, with the sleeping room and living room areas and spacious.

Perfect location if you are doing the Kumano Kodo. Traditional house with fantastic traditional meals and lovely guest.

Review: Lovely stay at Minshuku Momofuku

Home Stay was lovely. The amenities were excellent and sufficient for my one-person stay. Host was friendly. His english was decent and did not have much communication problems. Very welcoming to me and ensure that I had all that I need for the night stay. Would love to visit this home and the peaceful town again if I had the chance!

His accommodation was a wonderful one - homely yet very clean place but outdone by the excellent cooking of the host - Mr Hida, who was very kind yet energetic in his age. A very memorable stay.
